Peace Friends and Family,
At the end of 2010 I went to an island yoga retreat for three months and volunteered there as a chef, cooking for up to 50 people daily. I needed to rejuvenate my health and prepare myself before taking on 2011. Well, another new year is here, with much new music to come. I’m writing this to thank you all for a dope and life-altering 2011!
~2011 HIGHLIGHTS~
I’M PREGNANT! AFTER 9 MONTHS OF HARD LABOR…..BOOOM!
We (My brother Ravi, my boy Vince Orsini, and myself) set out to create and build the brand new RVM Sounds Studios. This took an insane amount of blood, sweat, and tears, literally, as we did 90% of the construction ourselves. Much love and thanks to everyone who helped make this possible. OODLES OF RAHMAN NOODLES
I released my debut album, a concept mashup collection feature AR Rahman’s music intertwined with Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Damian Marley, and more. AR Rahman’s team called me up telling me that they were getting calls from people saying they loved the album, and they subsequently contacted me. I got, and I am still getting so much love on this album thanks to YOU!
Much respect to Earmilk, Fader Mag (big up Eddie Stats/Ghetto Palms), Hype-M, RahmanISM, Curry Smugglers, Bobby Friction, DJ Kayper, and all the other people and media outlets that have been supporting this project!

HANGIN WITH “THE SENATOR” JIMMY DOUGLASS
Unless you have been living under a rock for the last 50 years, you have undoubtedly heard
Jimmy Douglass’s Grammy Award-winning mixing and production (Led Zeppelin, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Slave, Foreigner, and way too many to name here.) Jimmy launched a two-week intensive mixing workshop called The Hang, at his studio complex in Miami, Florida. I applied and was one of six people selected for the program. In a nutshell, it was frickin awesome, I made some friends for life and learned a ton. Special shouts to

ESPAÑA
Thanks to Indians and how much they love weddings, I was flown out to the south of Spain to DJ for three days of music, dancing, eating, and tons of love straight in the Andalusian mountains. After the event, I spent another week in Malaga and drove around to a few other cities. Much love to Raeshem and Deepak, and DJ Rekha for making it happen. Big up to all the extended familia out there at Hostel Picasso!
BOLLYWOOD DISCO
Last but not least, I ended the year spinning with DJ Rekha at Bollywood Disco, XMAS edition. The night was filled with retro grooves, funky visuals, and plenty of dance moves that I have never seen before. Much love, and don’t forget to support Rekha’s new single, “Pyar Baile!” on iTunes!
